Position: | Sr. Manager of ROI | Location: | metro NY | Description: | The Strategy & Intelligence team within our clients Corporate Marketing organization seeks a Senior Manager of Marketing ROI to support the development and implementation of Marketing Effectiveness capabilities. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions:
Support the development of Marketing Effectiveness capabilities, such as customer lifetime value analysis, marketing mix modeling, analytical frameworks to assess customer behavior, resource allocation, campaign testing agenda and design, and/or MROI on specific offers and/or promotions. The Senior Manager will be responsible for project management of various MROI projects, interfacing between corporate and regional teams, as well as with external partners. In addition to the project management aspect of the role, the Senior Manager will also directly develop, or assist in the development of MROI models. In this capacity, responsibilities will include requirements assessment, data harvesting, data transformation and modeling using statistical techniques.
| Requirements: | Eight years or more business experience working within a Marketing, Finance or Strategic Planning function of a large organization with an established reputation for direct marketing excellence (e.g., telecommunications, financial services, publishing, retail, consulting, etc.)
Strong knowledge of marketing and marketing , principles, techniques, and processes
Proven ability to manage large, complex projects
Demonstrated superior quantitative skills, modeling/framework development, and data interpretation capabilities
Comfortable with data, metrics and statistical procedures
Working knowledge of segmentation, lifetime value, ROI, decision-tree and statistical modeling procedures including AID, CHAID, CART and Regression
Facility with the tools used to accomplish the above work including Excel, Cognos, Business Objects, SAS and/or SPSS.
MS Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word- with high level of proficiency in Excel, including macros, vlookups, data tables, pivot tables, and PowerPoint
Understanding of, or experience in conducting statistical procedures a plus - including regression, logistic regression, time series , Chaid, cluster analysis, factor analysis, and other techniques
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to complete projects with limited oversight in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and presentation skills to expedite decision-making process
** Knowledge of and experience with Xcelcius dashboarding software a major plus
Education:
Bachelor degree from accredited four year college with major in Marketing, Management, Finance, Statistics or Economics. MBA Preferred.
